Darians helping Darians

For everyone who participated in Donna Spillane's survey, here's what she says about your responses. I'll be posting a copy of the paper on here for you guys to read as soon as she sends it to me. Thanks for helping her out!

"Thank you so much for running my survey on your page for me. I got over 150 responses!! They are still pouring in. I just wanted to tell you that you can take it down when ever you want, as the paper is due monday and I'll be writing it this weekend."

"But here's a little preview for you; i know everyone was curious to see a little demographic data, so if you would like to post this in the meantime, go ahead:"

"The female to male ratio was about 3:2, I would say. This surprised me, as I thought it would be mostly a female response. The youngest respondent was 10, and the oldest in his fifties. There were a surprising lot of repondents over the age of 30 (and one person thought 20 was too old to answer!) Oddly enough, nearly all of these older respondents were male, while most of the younger respondents were female. The age range with the most response was 16-17; the ages a little bit younger and a little older were also strong. About a third of you had bought some type of daria themed merchandise, though many more wanted to but couldn't find it. Alt.lawndale.com is the favorite web site, with Planet Daria and Sick Sad World also getting some mention. Everyone's favorite episode was "Road Worrier" by a landslide. "Quinn the Brain" "Misery Chick" and "Pinch Sitter" were the next favorites, in that order. Too bad Trent isn't human, cause quite of few female respondents want to marry him, and everyone loves the trent/daria tension. Nearly everyone said they identified with Daria, people call them daria, they are the daria of their school, etc. Many also identified with Jane, and a few with Quinn, Trent, and Jodie (and 3 for Upchuck!) As for the longer answers, I'll address them in the paper."

"Thank you so much to all who responded!!"
